Recycleye Recognised with Spectator Excellence in Sustainability Award

Spectator Excellence in Sustainability Award

We’re so proud to announce details of the latest award to be won by the Recycleye team.

Recycleye was named winner of the Excellence in Sustainability category at The Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year awards, in a ceremony in London.

Now in their 5th year, the annual awards are recognized by entrepreneur and investment communities and look to identify winners who are passionate about their products, determined to make a positive contribution to society and capable of scaling up nationally and internationally.

Following our shortlisting as a regional winner, the judges selected us as overall winner of this special category, from the almost 200 entries received from organizations across the UK.

“This year was the fifth year of the Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year Award, and we saw a record-breaking 176 companies apply. All 31 finalists have shown that the UK is still a dynamic and vibrant place where innovation and entrepreneurship can thrive” – The Spectator

Our work to bring greater efficiency to the waste management industry with our AI-powered robots was chosen by the judges as the stand-out entry in this category, guided by their criteria to reward a company with “A clear environmental purpose and ethos in every aspect of their business model”.

Pictured collecting our award on the night are Technical Sales Manager, Zoe Cook and Mechanical Engineer, Martin Andrews.

We excited to have another step recognised on our journey to turn the world’s waste into resource.
