Save the Date – 21 Oct: CIWM Webinar with Recycleye

The Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM) has invited Recycleye to discuss the impact and future of waste digitisation in a webinar, which will take place on 21st October at 11:00 BST. Recycleye CEO, Victor Dewulf and CTO, Peter Hedley, alongside CEO of eolos and former Head of Engineering at Bombardier, Pierre-Yves Cohen, will be speaking to host, Jon Hastings, chair of CIWM London & Southern Counties Centre.

 Recycleye and eolos will be sharing the insights gained from their research and development within the field. The webinar will cover:

  • A brief history of digitisation in waste management and how this has affected the industry over the past 30 years and lessons we might learn for the waste industry 4.0
  • The current state of the art to tackle Smart, Digital, AI, Deep Learning and Computer Vision and debunking myths around AI
  • The future brand level identification for food and non-food grade containers from deposit returns and MRFs
  • The future networked prospects for smart bins, trucks, MRFs and their interlinkage
